Fran Morgan Folic, Senior Account Manager

Fran Folic, possesses more than 20 years experience in public and media relations, marketing and special events.

With a diverse public relations background in tourism, retail entertainment, hospitality, legal, medical and government services, Folic has been instrumental in securing numerous national placements for Bitner Goodman clients such as the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Seminole Paradise, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hard Rock Live, Simon Property Group, Wannado Entertainment, Young At Art Children’s Museum, Proskauer Rose, LLP, one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious law firms headquartered in New York, Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA), Marriott’s Harbor Beach Resort & Spa and many others.

In addition to her public relations role, Folic serves as one of the firm’s main copywriters and is a published writer and photographer.

A former promotions director for Jefferson-Pilot’s WMXJ-FM, Majic 102.7, she has also developed and implemented hundreds of special events with national celebrities, world-class attractions such as Walt Disney World, international recording stars and other high profile entities. She also directed and designed all station image materials, advertising campaigns and specialties in addition to serving on the board of directors for The Majic Children’s Fund, the station’s namesake philanthropy that assists underprivileged families in South Florida.

Prior to her position at Majic, Folic served as an account executive at a nationally-recognized public relations agency where she handled related activities for clients such as the Jamaica Tourist Board, the Mexican Government Tourism Office, Marriott Resorts, Value Rent-A-Car, the Hyatt Regency’s Pier Sixty-Six and Continental Airlines.

She served on the local board of Association for Women in Communications in a variety of capacities for many years. She has also served on Ft. Lauderdale’s Winterfest Boat Parade Committee, as Public Relations Director for the North Miami Jaycees and as a Continental Airlines public relations ambassador.

In 1992, Folic received a Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International Golden Bell Public Relations Award for her work on the Grand Opening of Fort Lauderdale’s premiere children’s museum, the Museum of Discovery & Science/Blockbuster IMAX Theater.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunications from the University of Florida.
