Ivonne Snavely, Account Supervisor

Prior to joining Bitner Goodman, Ivonne Snavely worked as an on-air reporter in Italy, covering the Vatican, art, politics and business. She has also reported on breaking news, local governments, businesses and crime for an ABC affiliate in Texas.

Snavely serves as the account supervisor for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Casino Brighton and Seminole Casino Immokalee. She is responsible for handling media inquiries, securing media coverage, creating and executing public relations plans, assisting with crisis communications and helping with special events and community outreach. Additionally, she manages all social media communications for Bitner Goodman.

In addition to media relations, she has also assisted with fashion shows and community events for South Florida Simon Malls, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and Miami Beach Community Health Center. She also assisted with media outreach for Lynn University surrounding their hosting of the 2012 presidential debate.

She earned her B.S. in Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin and spent a semester abroad studying communications and business in Seville, Spain. During college she interned in public relations at Clear Channel Radio, served as the PR Chair for the Hispanic Business Student Association and wrote for The Daily Texan. She earned a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.

Snavely enjoys traveling and volunteering. She is member of PRSA and Emerge Broward.
