Robyn Hankerson, Account Supervisor

Robyn Hankerson, account supervisor, brings nearly 10 years of experience in public relations, marketing and community outreach to the Bitner Goodman team.

Hankerson is well-versed in public relations and marketing initiatives. Her experience at Bitner Goodman includes, but is not limited to, managing the PR efforts for select Simon Malls in Florida. This effort includes working to create and publicize events and other opportunities that help increase visibility, drive traffic and position the malls as a community resource. She has also been instrumental in managing crises, assuring delivery of clear and concise messaging to the media, public and all stakeholders.

Hankerson is also credited for her work on behalf of the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority/Tri-Rail, where she has assisted the commuter rail system in creating award-winning marketing campaigns and events that have resulted in double digit ridership increases and helped to position Tri-Rail as a viable method of transportation throughout the South Florida region. Hankerson has also had the responsibility of overseeing the “Street Team,” a community outreach effort created to market Tri-Rail in various multicultural communities throughout the tri-county area.

Prior to her tenure at Bitner Goodman, Hankerson was an account executive with the United Way of Broward County. There she was responsible for spearheading campaign strategies and motivating team members to ensure campaign goals were met.

Hankerson is an active Broward County community member, serving as a board member of ArtServe and Urban League of Broward County Young Professionals Network. She is also heavily involved with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and several other community organizations.

Hankerson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
