Tathiana Leal, Manager, Latin America Group

Tathiana Leal, Manager of the Latin America Group of Bitner Goodman, has nine years of Public Relations experience and maintains a constant relationship with the media in the region. Leal joined Bitner.com in 1999 as an account executive

Leal earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, Brazil in 1995. In college, she studied English and Italian. During her senior year, she started working at City Hall in the Public Relations Department. A year later, Leal joined Actual Consultoria em Comunicação, a PR company, where she created, wrote and edited newsletters and magazines. Before moving to Florida in 1998, she was also editor of ABO’s (Brazilian Association of Dentistry) regional magazine.

A Brazil native, Leal brings her understanding of the regional and cultural differences to Bitner Goodman.

Leal’s close contact with the Brazilian media promotes Bitner Goodman’s clients in markets such as São Paulo, Brazil’s economic center, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Brasília. These contacts include not only major daily newspapers, but also trade magazines and online publications. Her press releases have appeared in newspapers such as O Globo, O Estado de São Paulo and O Estado de Minas.

She works closely with Spanish-speaking staff members of Bitner Goodman, who focus on Argentina, Mexico, Panama, Peru and other countries in the region.
